What to Expect:

No retooling. No reconfiguration. No changeover station.

The FORMHAND system combines universal gripping pads with self-stabilizing granules—and thus automatically adapts to different components and positions. In practice, this means:

• Maximum space savings due to fewer grippers required
• Resource-efficient operation thanks to the ejector’s energy-saving mode
• Quick integration through simple programming
• Highly flexible and low-maintenance.

The project was carried out under the auspices of the acs sponsoring association. Other participating partners include LEWA Attendorn and FANUC.
